"Our spam situation became unbearable within the past year. Some email accounts were receiving well over 100 pieces of junk mail per day - and many of the messages even contained viruses. Since our people depend on email as a primary means of communication, we decided to research several anti-spam products. We implemented anti-spam software that ran on its own Linux server on our network - and the spam problem decreased. "I am just writing to thank you and the Swirbo team for developing and supporting an excellent product.
We have been using Swirbo for several months now and it has effectively eliminated the SPAM problem for our company. We had users getting 50-100 SPAM messages a day, which now report 0 SPAM messages delivered through Swirbo. Additionally, the quarantine features and algorithms have proven very effective. Rarely has anyone found email in the quarantine area that were not Spam.
Due to the reduction of thousands of unwanted emails a day hitting our mail server, we have now been able to reduce the load on the server significantly enough that we can now combine two servers into one and free up the second server for other organizational needs. Additionally, we have noticed some improvement in our internet service as a vast amount of traffic was due to unnecessary emails.
Finally, while we do have multiple levels of virus protection on our servers and clients, we have tracked incoming mail and have found no emails with viruses getting through to our firewall/servers since implementing Swirbo, where previously we averaged 1-2 viruses per day that were captured and cleaned. It is certainly an added piece of mind to know that we have an additional layer of protection keeping viruses from ever getting to our servers.
